In August 2001 Classic Drapery & Upholstery was founded in downtown Whitby by Judy Kovacs. Offering upholstery and drapery services, Classic became a staple of the Durham community and has had a long track record of happy retail customers and business clients. Servicing business clients and restaurants since it’s founding, Classic has been a reliable and competitive service that has helped many local businesses. Over the years since it’s founding, Judy’s sons Sandor & Bob both joined the company to help it grow.
In 2023 it was time to transform the company and focus on our growing list of commercial and restaurant clients that needed more dedicated services. Judy’s son Bob took over management and created OnSite Upholstery Pros, a sister company of Classic Drapery & Upholstery to carry on the legacy built by Judy.
We take a lot of pride in being a family owned Canadian business and we look forward to servicing a larger community for many years to come.
